I think this definitely goes right along with gender roles. It's a mom and her two kids... it doesn't get much more traditional than that. Also, maybe something with the boys having their shirts off... it kind of shows what is ok for boys but not for girls.

I'm assuming that the focus is supposed to either be on Natalie's sweater, or maybe the kids' jeans. It's hard to tell
